Wilmette

Wilmette offers something to all of its residents in all directions; to the east, the village’s beaches and parks line Lake Michigan and serve as a weekend retreat on the North Shore. To the north lie the other communities of the New Trier Township that formulate an area sharing the nationally recognized New Trier High School. To the south, the vibrant community of Evanston puts Northwestern University and a lively urban within yet the notable distance of Wilmette residents’ homes. The villages own is a historic area that offers -- unique to North Shore communities of its size -- L access to Chicago. With such resources and flexibility, Wilmette remains one of the strongest and most popular communities in the area.
